In an abrupt moment of inspiration, I decided to change my blog name to Joseph's Republic.

For reasons strategic in nature, which I don't feel comfortable discussing now, I had to make this move. Suffice it to say that this is part of my blog's evolution, and perhaps of my evolution too as a blogger. As for the content, I think nothing will change, although there are new topics I will try discussing some of the time, otherwise there are no entries that need deleting or transferring elsewhere for branding reasons.

I hope it's all for the best.

Now don't go asking me why the site now looks like a barbershop!

In Search of a Blog Identity

I'm still in the process of defining this blog. Originally I intended to simply allow this to be just a blog, whatever that means. Then I thought of turning it into my official personal blog, again, whatever that means. Then I thought of expanding it a wee bit more by allowing it to take on an Ecclesiastic inspirations.

An aimless blog + that gets personal + that gets inspirational = and what do I get??

To make matters worse, in pursuit of some vague SEO tip I've read somewhere, I decided to turn this into a 2-in-1 blog (with the time-chance.blogspot.com serving as the home page, and the josephvizcarra.blogspot.com serving as the inner pages)

For a while there I really got myself confused, so I thought I owe my cool and intelligent readers some explanation.

While composing this explanation, however, I accidentally formulated a blog description which I though was kinda nice. Nice enough that I posted it in my Facebook Networked Blogs .

It reads...

"A dose of some good old-fashioned musings of a non-practicing bachelor boy about the meaning of wife... and a host of life's other nosey questions."

This descriptin looks promising and I intend to pursue it. But it remains a vision at the moment. Plus I still need to get permission from the wife. And maybe even our cat. And that takes time...

Oh, well. There's time for everything.

Welcome to Time & Chance my brand new blog!

Aside from being the repository of all my personal posts, I have yet to really decide what these pages shall be all about but, well, here's a bit of a background why I call it Time & Chance.

One other thing I'm sure about is that this blog's gonna miles apart from Journeyist, my first blog. Instead of tackling existential issues in the third person universal, I'll try to dive right in and resist the temptation to slip in to long (but still sexy) contemplations.

Enough said.

PS. Your suggestions are welcome here (unlike in some blog i know... well, that's for a later post.)
